Hefeweizen

Hefeweizen

A German-style wheat beer, lemon-straw in colour, with banana and clove character from the traditional wheat-ale yeast and low bitterness.

§ How it tastes

Nothing is added — the yeast simply makes banana and clove on its own, which is the strangest and most delightful fact in beer. Soft, fluffy, and barely bitter. If you have only ever had pale lagers, this is the biggest flavour jump you can make while still feeling completely safe.

That's the style. This beer is one brewery's take on it.
